During her junior year of high school, Megan was diagnosed with cancer. Her social worker introduced her to Wishes & More, and before she knew it, a car allowance was granted, and she was behind the wheel of her Nissan Sentra. Megan shared, “It has given me so much freedom. I no longer have to borrow my parents’ cars or coordinate my life with theirs. I took it to college with me, it’s been on a few road trips, and overall has been a game changer for my life.” Megan has been studying Spanish and Exercise Science at UW La Crosse, and she hopes to become a Physical Therapist working with athletes or in injury rehab one day. We are proud to support Megan with our exclusive-to-WAM, Scholarship of Hope®, and we can’t wait to see her success in life, especially after her battle with cancer.
