Bane

At just 10 years old, Bane has already faced more than most. Born with a serious congenital birth defect, he has endured several life-threatening complications since birth. However, his resilience has shown through, and Bane has remained an active, friendly kid who loves spending time outdoors, especially in the water. When Bane met with our Wish Wizards, he knew exactly what his wish would be—a trip to the Bahamas so he could "swim with the piggies!" This Spring, that dream became a reality! Bane and his family grabbed their passports and spent a whole week relaxing at an oceanfront Airbnb and enjoying quality time together. They took a boat to the special beach where Bane finally got to swim with the famous pigs! A heartfelt thank you to Da Pig Beach for donating this unforgettable experience. We also made sure he experienced the incredible opportunity to swim with dolphins, and we can’t thank Blue Lagoon Island for treating Bane and his family like royalty. This wish was especially meaningful because it wasn't the family's first experience with Wishes & More. In 2014, Bane's older brother, Cesar, received his own wish to visit Disney World! It was an honor to welcome this incredible family back and help support them with additional family memories they will always hold dear!
