David, a 17-year-old from Waconia was passionate for creativity and adventure. From snowboarding to his dream of pursuing a degree in film making and producing, he always enjoyed a challenge. He also was just like any other young man who enjoyed hanging out in Uptown Minneapolis, eating Mexican food and looked forward to his college years. David was also battling a brain tumor, but didn’t let it ruin his aspirations. When David came to Wishes & More®, he asked for an Apple iMac G5 computer, printer, and video production software so he could further develop his craft. He was able to join our Wish Wizards to help pick out his new items and even received one year of internet service, and a new desk and chair too! The wish-granting didn’t stop there. David also went on to receive a Scholarship of Hope from Wishes & More, to help him pursue his college endeavors. He went on to study film at the Minneapolis School of Art and Design and has continued to thank Wishes & More® for helping make all of his wishes come true. Unfortunately, in July of 2007, two years after receiving his wish, David passed away. Wishes & More® was saddened by this news, but glad he was able to spend a couple of years enjoying his greatest passion, the art of film making.
