Alyssa

Alyssa was born with a serious genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome.  Alyssa’s two brothers absolutely adore her, and her favorite moments are when they are all together…or when she is snuggling with mom. Alyssa enjoys spending time in the water and we hear that she pouts when it’s time to dry off.  She also loves the Korean boy band BTS, scary roller coasters, and watching musicals – specifically High School Musical and Mamma Mia!  Her number one wish was to go to Disney World and after they returned from a magical week away, her family shared this wonderful video with us.  It’s charmingly narrated by her brothers and shares many photos and videos from their amazing trip to the Parks and Give Kids the World Village.  Their smiles say it all – but their sweet words are incredibly moving and not only describe their vacation, it gives us a peek into their lives.  We know the memories of Alyssa’s wish will be a lasting treasure for this great family and we all loved watching their video – now it’s your turn – enjoy!
