Aimee Jo is 17-years-old and a member of the Totino Grace High School Show Choir. She was diligently preparing for the competition season when she began to feel ill, and by January she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and was immediately brought into surgery. During her recovery she began chemo treatments and lost her hair, but her drive led her to rejoin her group and get back to dancing. Only three short months later she donned her wig and joined them for their national competition in Nashville! Wishes & More® was honored to provide a wish for this incredible young lady, and it wasn’t just any wish. Aimee Jo chose to use her wish to say thanks to her Dance Choir by surprising them each with a bag of goodies. She also dedicated four costume racks and two industrial steamers for her school. As Wishes & More®’s 500th wish recipient, Aimee Jo received an additional surprise of her own. She and her family attended We Fest in Detroit Lakes. This country fan and a friend were also granted a Spa Day as well as a special behind the scenes meet and greet with favorite artist, Carrie Underwood. Thanks to Randy Ehleringer for backing Aimee’s generous wish.
