Parker’s life was changed after a series of doctor’s visits trying to figure out the source of his high fever. Eventually, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and endured nine months of chemo treatments. After enduring the fight of his life, Parker sadly passed away at the age of four from the cancer taking over his small body. Parker’s best friends were his two brothers and they loved to play with cars, monster trucks, dinosaurs, and superheroes. His family describes him as full of life and that he never let his illness bring him down. When in the hospital, one of his favorite things to do was scare his nurses with dinosaurs in addition to running down the hallway and embarking on scavenger hunts. His loved ones highlight his strength, bravery, and infectious smile, and that he was a joy to everyone that knew him. We were not able to grant a wish for Parker before he passed; however, our Memorial program was put into motion immediately and funds were gifted to his parents to help them memorialize their sweet boy in whatever way they choose.
