Mateo is an active, playful 3-year-old from Brooklyn Park battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He is the middle child of three and this little cutie loves playing with cars & balls, and has a fascination with bugs. Our Wish Wizards spoke with Mateo’s parents with the help of a fantastic Spanish-speaking interpreter. They learned of his love of Disney characters and enjoyment playing in water. They also shared that he absolutely loves Mickey and his favorite movie is Encanto. Disney was obviously the number one wish choice, and we were happy to send this great family to the Happiest Place on Earth! Mateo not only met the one and only Mickey Mouse, he also had a great time at the parks and at Give Kids The World Village. Thanks to our village of volunteers who helped us bring magic to this little guy with cancer.
