Remember Lucy? If you were fortunate enough to be at Tom Reid’s pub when we did her surprise Wish Reveal, you would certainly remember her and the special evening in her honor. It was the height of the pandemic in 2020 and she was in her Senior year at DeLasalle and completing treatments for Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was a three sport athlete and everyone was impressed with her grace, her athleticism, and her positive outlook. We all enjoyed her shocked and happy reaction when local Gopher celebrity, Casey O’Brien, came around the corner and gave her the news that her wish to go to Hawaii was going to come true. The entire family had a blast on her wish and we were overjoyed to see her smiles in photos from her wish trip. Fast forward to January 2023 when we supported this young lady again with her Scholarship of Hope! She is attending the College of Saint Benedict, following in the footsteps of numerous family members. She is studying Communications & Theology and is also participating in Track & Field as a mid-distance runner. Congratulations Lucy, on everything you’ve overcome and accomplished – Wishes & More is proud to support you as you look to your future!
