Lizzie

Lizzie is 7 years old, but physically, she is in the same developmental stage as a 3-month-old. This is due to multiple complex medical issues from her diagnosis of Pallister-Killian Syndrome. Lizzie receives a lot of physical therapy because of her condition, and one of the things that is very beneficial to her is being in the water. When Wishes and More heard about Lizzie, it was a no brainer to move forward immediately with her wish of receiving a hot tub because it is so advantageous to her. Lizzie is a total water bug and is the calmest and happiest when she is in the water. Her siblings also get to experience her wish, they have been splashing around in the hot tub with her since she received it! Lizzie’s Mom wrote: “It is incredible! I will never be able to express properly my deep, deep gratitude for everyone and everything involved in this wish. She is loving life right now and so are we. She’s not even mad when her sibs swim with her because there’s room for all of us. This past year has been horrendous for Lizzie and we almost lost her multiple times, so to see her happily tooling around in her pool fills my heart to bursting.” This wish would not have been possible without the generous support of Calspa.
