Lauren

13-year-old Lauren suffers from a multitude of serious medical issues that requires her to have 24-7 care. As the third child of four kids, everyone pitches in to include her in all of the family activities as much as possible.  She’s grown too big to be carried and sometimes has difficulty getting comfortable while sitting.  A friend of the family introduced them to a specially customized jogging stroller and bicycle trailer which will help Lauren be a part of more family activities and will allow her to go fast because she loves to feel the wind in her face!  Immediately after we learned about this perfect stroller, we contacted the manufacturer to “build” her new chariot and requested a rush order  to make sure Lauren got it as soon as possible!

Lauren’s Red Josi Stroller was delivered to her by the Goldbeck Family who generously adopted her wish and provided some extra special gifts for Lauren, including a bike helmet.  Our go-to guy, John Burch, assembled the intricate bike and bundtini’s from Nothing Bundt Cakes Maple Grove were packed up and ready for the big day.  The family already had plans to head out for a couple walks to show it off and after the ribbon cutting, Lauren settled into the seat immediately and didn’t want to get out!  We hope this wish will continue to bring joy to Lauren and we’re thrilled that she can join her parents and her siblings, Tytis, Abby, and Joseph, in outdoor rides and activities.  After all, families should be able to play together!
