Dexter

Just a few of fifteen-year-old Dexter’s favorite things are trains, dinosaurs, sharks, and museums - so we included all of them into one memorable wish trip to Chicago! Dexter came to Wishes & More as he battled a brain tumor, and we were proud to support this young man with a jam-packed adventure to the Windy City! After an Amtrak train brought them to their destination, they visited the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, and the Museum of Science and Industry. To make the experience even more extraordinary, the Museum of Science and Industry opened its doors a little early just for Dexter, giving him a calm, quiet start to the day and a private tour before the museum welcomed other guests - a true VIP experience! After each day of exploring, Dexter and his family relaxed at their hotel, where the pool was the perfect way to recharge before the next adventure. We also want to thank The Field Museum for surprising Dexter with a special merch package filled with museum keepsakes, giving him lasting reminders of his once-in-a-lifetime wish trip. We are so glad Dexter imagined a wish that brought together all of his passions and that we were able to help make his incredible vision come to life!
