Dechlan

Ten-month-old Dechlan was an incredibly loved baby who was cherished before he was born. His parents loved every unique thing about him including his dislike of snuggles, his determination to move until he passed out, and how he adored his big brother. Even his inability to sleep through the night.  They shared that his sleeping schedule was “ God’s way of giving us all the time we could have with him.”  A sudden illness took his life while he was in-patient at Children’s in Minneapolis. Because a wish wasn’t possible, Memorial funds were given to the family. His obituary read, “The day Dechlan entered the world, the sun seemed to shine a little brighter and our hearts grew with a joy we never thought possible. On the day God called him home, Dechlan took with him a piece of our hearts and left behind a legacy of love that will live on forever.”  These beautiful words break our hearts. Our hope is that the Memorial funds we provided, on behalf of all of the supporters of Wishes & More, will bring comfort and peace.
