Sixteen-year-old Chloe endured much in her lifetime as it was punctuated with many seizures and medical procedures to alleviate them. She overcame numerous obstacles and proved that her abilities far outweighed her disabilities. She enjoyed school and many activities, and her parents shared, “A day with Chloe was filled with sass, literal translations of the world around her, bantering with her siblings, a retort for every direction, and frequent giggles for reasons she was unwilling to explain. To know Chloe was to love her. She radiated joy, happiness, and had the most contagious laugh.” Unexpectedly, this young lady was overcome with a severe infection which caused septic shock and took her life. Because Chloe had never experienced a wish, Wishes & More supported her family with our memorial offering of $1,000 for the family to use in any way that would celebrate her. Chloe’s passing was especially hard on one of our most engaging supporters – Hanna. Hanna and her family got to know Chloe through the Pageant of Hope and she was extremely sad when she heard of Chloe’s passing. Consequently, she wants to raise money for Wishes & More in Chloe’s memory and as a tribute to all kids that come to WAM. She is making 400 hats to sell at craft fairs over the next few months and she intends to donate to WAM $1.00 for each hat sold and is hoping others will help by matching her donation in any way possible. If you would like to help Hanna achieve her goal, please visit https://wishesandmore.org/donations/hannas-hat/.
