Alyah

Meet Alyah! A while back, we put out a call to our WAM Heroes to help us fulfill a nursery for this little warrior who weighed only one pound at birth. We were anxiously waiting for her to be released from the hospital as she battled serious respiratory issues. After spending nearly eight months in the hospital, she was finally ready to go home! Since Mom & Dad had moved into their home two weeks before she made her very early arrival, they didn’t have her room prepared and they connected with Wishes & More to have us help grant her wish. Our supporters jumped on-board and helped us create a safe, special place for Alyah to welcome her home. Mom said that although they still have a lot of doctors appointments, Alyah is doing great! They are starting to wean her off her oxygen, so our fingers are crossed she tolerates it well! She was excited to report that everything they received from Wishes & More is absolutely perfect – especially the hand-created custom cabinet built by Jason, a former wish dad, to house her clothes and supplies. When we told Mom about the cabinet being built, she replied, “It warms my heart to know that a former wish recipient father is going out of his way to make this for us.”  Thank you to all our WAM Hero supporters for helping us grant Alyah’s wish, we hope you enjoy the photos of this sweet girl!
