Agnes

Little Agnes was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) when she was 19 months old and she also happens to have Mosaic Down Syndrome. According to her mom, her sweet, happy, loving disposition makes her a favorite of her doctors, nurses, and therapists and has helped her family have a positive outlook as they navigated her cancer diagnosis. This little lady endured four different types of chemo, countless pokes and prods, miserable fevers and other symptoms – but in September, she finally finished up these difficult treatments and it was time to celebrate everything she’d overcome, her birthday, and a continuation of clear scans! Agnes wished to experience the magic of Disney World with her parents and five loving older siblings.  Wishes & More was happy to provide the backdrop for the celebration with the help of our friends at Give Kids the World Village! To kick things off, the family travelled to the Cities for one overnight at Radisson Blu, who welcomed the family with cookies, milk and a special stuffed moose.  The following day, they boarded a plane to Florida for an incredible trip filled with meeting characters, dazzling fireworks, fantastic rides, rest and relaxation at Give Kids The World Village, and so many memories to cherish. Join us in wishing this sweet girl a Happy Belated 3^rd Birthday and a year filled with health and joy!
