Enjoy an update on Abbie’s journey “After the Wish!” You may remember Abbie from 2020 when she received her wish for a Sleep Number bed as she was seeking a comfortable space while going through treatments for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She had just started college at UW Eau Claire when she was diagnosed with this devastating blow! She recently shared that she is now four years into remission and despite a few scares, she’s thankfully feeling very healthy! After restarting college at U of M Duluth, Abbie used her Scholarship of Hope while studying Exercise Science. She recalled, “Cancer made me drop out of my first semester of college. So I’m incredibly happy and proud to say that I was able to graduate in three and a half years with the rest of my friends and classmates.” Another exciting update is that back in 2020, Abbie not only received her wish, she also started dating a boy who proposed to her on graduation day and they’ve been wedding planning ever since!
