Four-year-old Emma from Lakeville is courageously battling Retinoblastoma. Sadly, despite the efforts of her medical team they have been unsuccessful in shrinking the tumor, and she is undergoing surgery to have her eye removed this week. This young lady loves playing with her big sister, Grace. They especially love singing, dancing, dressing up & all things princesses! They also really enjoy going to the park & together they wished to have swings in their own backyard. Knowing that her surgery date was coming quickly, we moved forward with the installation and celebration of her playset as quickly as possible to ensure that Emma was able to fully enjoy the magic of her wish. Thank you to our incredible volunteers for making this joyful unveiling even more special by presenting Emma with her own special sign and bringing noise makers, outdoor toys, and cupcakes! We are wishing this sweet girl a successful surgery and many joyful days ahead, filled with outdoor playtime and special moments with her sister.
