Kay’Sen

Kay’Sen is 6 years old and has never known life without cancer and the after-effects of treatment. He was born with a cancerous lump on his neck and went through a rigorous chemotherapy regimen. Thankfully, this boy was also born strong, and he can proudly say that he has beaten cancer! His medical team keeps a close eye on him because of possible recurrence and because chemotherapy at such a young age took its toll on him. Kay’Sen has always loved sports, and he told Wishes & More that his once-in-a-lifetime wish was to have a special experience with the Timberwolves! We worked with the our hometown team to pull out all the stops to make the game he attended on December 17 over-the-top! We sent him to Target Center via limo and was greeted like one of the Wolves’ MVPs. He and his family watched the teams warm up right by the court, he received a personalized jersey (among other swag), and met many of the players to get photos and autographs. He was then welcomed into the DJ’s booth, where he picked out the song the team took the court to. AND, thanks to Sezzle, he cheered for the team in courtside seats. Unfortunately, the T-Wolves couldn’t pull out a victory for their new friend Kay’Sen, but that didn’t stop him from having the time of his life on this very special wish-come-true.
