Abigail

Abigail is a delightful sixteen-year-old with a creative mind, love for Harry Styles, and enjoyment of fantasy novels. She not only uses her brain power, she also enjoys staying physically active, particularly through basketball, volleyball, and track & field. This is even more impressive when you consider that she has a critical and unresolved congenital heart defect. Her veins don’t distribute blood throughout her body well, nor does her heart properly filter her blood. She’s had this scary condition her whole life and has endured many hospital visits and procedures to regulate it. Needless to say, she is a very courageous young woman and more than ready for a wish-come-true! We granted her wish with a Christmas-time family trip to Disney World! She explored the magical theme parks and especially loved the immersive experiences. Some highlights include Animal Kingdom, Pandora, World of Avatar, the Rise of the Resistance ride, and the jolly Christmas atmosphere. Abby also loved visiting Cocoa Beach to take a break from the busy parks and simply relax by the water. She is back to her active lifestyle in Minnesota – and now she has many magical memories with her family to cherish.
