Aden

Aden is an 8-year-old from Rosemount who is traveling the difficult journey of battling cancer. This superhero fan spent months receiving treatments and feeling overwhelmingly tired and achy; however, he kept his focus on a different journey – fulfilling his dream of visiting California. We met this young man in January and were thrilled when just nine months later, he felt well enough to make his wish a reality. Family bonding was the biggest focus of the trip, which made the generous discount from wish contributor Anaheim Vacation House the best possible venue for their 7-night stay. The house was clean and germ-free, and they spent every day of their trip enjoying family meals and the comforts of home. Disneyland also contributed to making the wish especially memorable and served as the backdrop for two of their fun filled days. Aden was starstruck meeting his idol, Ironman, and just had to bring home an Ironman hand and helmet as keepsakes!  Grandma & Grandpa happily joined them in CA and mom remarked, “It was a dream come true for all of us! We were missing joy and laughter in our life. It was the reawakening we needed! So grateful we got this opportunity!” Wishing this great kid and his loving family a lifetime of wonderful memories from this magical wish trip!
