Sammy loves all sports and it is a toss up to say which one he likes the most; he tends to lean towards whichever one is on TV. Sammy was diagnosed with a severe form of hemophilia, which makes it impossible for his blood to clot and risky to play any sports. A self-proclaimed sports fanatic, Sammy would love to play baseball himself one day but if he were to get injured he would not likely recover. When our Wish Wizards met with Sammy, he showed great interest in meeting Lew Ford from the MN Twins and getting a new four-wheeler.
Sammy was invited to the 2006 Wishes & More® Celebrity Dinner where Lew greeted him by pulling up in a brand new ATV. Sammy’s face lit up as he watched his grandest wishes come true.
