Patrick is an 11-year-old boy with Cystic Fibrosis who lives in Columbia Heights with his Mom and two cats. Dealing with Cystic Fibrosis can be pretty tough on a young guy; Patrick has to endure daily medications as well as a special machine that helps to clear his lungs. He enjoys watching TV and Sponge Bob movies, reading Harry Potter, and is a big fan of Jim Carrey. Our Wish Wizards, Karla and Paul, met with Patrick in May. His wish request was for a TV with a DVD player and cable service so that he could watch his favorite channels, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel. Wishes & More® gifted Patrick a TV with a DVD/VCR, included a $250 gift card so he could rent all the DVD’s he wanted, and provided cable service for three years. He was so excited, and being a whiz with electronics, he had the new TV set up in no time! Jenny, Patrick’s mom, said that he is thrilled with his new TV and cable.
