Miah is six years old with a rare genetic disorder called CDKL-5. This causes her to have seizures; and the inability to walk, talk, or feed herself due to the severe neurological impairments. Miah loves being active and outdoors but was restricted due to her wheelchair. Miah and her family wished for a deck so Miah can have access to the sunshine and fresh air whenever she wants at their home in Belle Plaine. Wishes & More provided a deck allowance so that her parents could construct the perfect place for Miah to explore a new independence of being safe outside on her new deck!
