Zoe

During the Holiday season of 2023 when everyone should be having joy-filled experiences, Zoe was experiencing medical testing that resulted in a diagnosis of Ewing’s Sarcoma.  Worsening hip pain caused the initial visit, and over the next two years, she endured 13 cycles of chemotherapy and surgery for a partial hip replacement.  When we met her earlier this year, we were completely enamored by a young lady who loves adventure.  She shared her love of skiing, cross country, and travel, and after much consideration, she decided that a trip to Rome would be her absolute dream and #1 wish choice. We granted her wish, and she shared that she was overwhelmed by the museums and history, spending her week-long stay immersed in the city’s culture, food, and sights.
