Sixteen-year-old Morgan was born with Down Syndrome along with a heart condition, making it difficult to gain the independence she desired. Her heart condition tires her easily and she requires life-long clinical follow-ups. Despite this, she is very active in her community. She plays in her high school band and participated in the Special Olympics.
