“The light of our lives, sassy and full of life.” This is how Stella’s Mom describes their toddler on our Wishes & More Memorial application. In just 17 short months, Stella underwent cancer treatments for leukemia and was finally in remission when a virus took her life. “She left this world where she was the safest, held against the hearts that never once stopped fighting for her.” The rollercoaster of emotions felt by her family and those closest to her seemed out of control – from fear, to hope, to elation, to heartbreak. Our memorial offering won’t be able to take away any of the heartache, but we hope the financial gift does have emotional impact in helping Stella’s family know that she will live on in the hearts of many strangers who simply care about what they’re experiencing.
