Sophia

Little Sophia’s battle with seizures can take it’s toll on a daily basis.  But when she talked about visiting Disney World – her eyes lit up with joy at the thought of visiting all the parks and meeting her favorite characters.  Sophia’s wish came true in March when they jetted off to FL leaving the reminders of the daily struggles behind them. Mom emailed during their vacation with this update:  “Just wanted to let you know we are having a blast! We aren’t in the village much because we are losing track of time and having fun in the parks. The village is amazing and all the people who work and volunteer are so sweet to the kids. Thanks again, Sophia and family”.  We can’t make these wishes come true without the help of our great supporters and there were many that contributed to Sophia’s wish at the 2011 Winter Ball – thank you to each one for your generous contributions helping Sophia receive her much deserved vacation!
