Little Savannah Jo, better known as Savvy by those who love her, is a very fragile, medically complex, little one who receives around-the-clock nursing care. The wish her parents made on Savvy’s behalf was to help design a space for her that would feel like a little girl’s bedroom and not a hospital room. They moved into a new home with an open dining room that could allow the nurses to come and go and have space to accommodate all of her medical equipment.  One of our former wish dads (Tanner’s Dad, Jason) designed and constructed a beautiful custom bed that fits in perfectly with the home’s finishes and makes caring for her as easy as possible. Additionally, we provided a mattress & bedding; a cabinet to store medical supplies, an office chair, and IV pole casters; and we upgraded their storage unit to a larger model and finished it off with drawers, cupboard doors and fabric bins.  The end result is a perfect bedroom that is warm, clean and has tons of storage and a custom bed that allows for more accessible care for Savvy.  Volunteer photographer, Heather, provided a “MORE” opportunity of a photo shoot of Savvy with her parents, siblings and pets! We hope this room will provide Savvy’s entire family with a comfortable space to care for their precious little girl!
