Quentin

We met Quetin as he was going through treatment for Leukemia and dealing with on-going issues in and out of the hospital.  He was a sophomore in high school in the Stillwater school district, but with his health struggles, he decided to take a year of home learning to try to keep up with his studies.  During his wish interview, he was extremely organized with notes laid out, ready to “talk wishes!”  He very distinctly outlined his top three wishes with Hawaii as his clear #1.  In addition to exploring the beaches and the entire island of Honolulu, he wanted to try different foods, go fishing, and go on lots of hikes to enjoy the outdoors and nature.  With his health as a major concern, the family decided to wait a full year to ensure he was strong enough to endure the flight and enjoy the trip as much as possible. In January, Quentin and his family of six hopped on the plane and took off on Quentin’s adventure.  They shared with us that he enjoyed swimming for the first time since he was diagnosed and enjoyed eating lots of yummy food.  Mom also wrote, “Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts ❤️ this trip would not have happened without Wishes & More and their love and support! We all enjoyed this very much needed vacation. Quentin is already asking when can we go back!”  Special thanks to the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort for their contributions in making Quentin’s stay so memorable. A recent update is that he is now cancer-free and excited to be back at high school in person!  He’s also getting back to sports, playing football and basketball!  Wishing this incredible young man continued health and wonderful memories from his Hawaiian vacation!
