Nathaly

In 2011, four-year-old Nathaly struggled with a rare condition called Histiocytosis. Her wish, similar to many of our other young wish kids, was to visit Disney World to meet the princesses! Her whole family traveled to Florida in August and returned just in time for Nathaly to start Kindergarten. Fast forward to 2024 and we learned that she was now graduating from DeLaSalle and preparing for her first year of college at UMN to study Criminology. She asked if we could have a WAM representative present her with her Scholarship of Hope at her school ceremony in May, but we upped the ante after learning about her passion to fight human trafficking in her future career. Who better than the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI (the highest ranking investigator in the region), Alvin Winston, Sr. to present her $2,000 Scholarship of Hope® from WAM and congratulate her on her passionate pursuit of justice. Nathaly began her college classes in September and we can’t wait to see her success in her studies and career aspirations!
