Teri Hanslits joined the Wishes & More team as a part-time Accounting Clerk in January 2026. For the previous 4 years, she was a volunteer for WAM, mostly in-office helping the wish and fundraising departments, but also as a Wish Wizard, interviewing Wish Kids about their potential wishes. As a volunteer, she learned the ins and outs of the organization which made the transition to a part-time staff member an easy switch. She is excited to be part of an amazing team who make such a positive impact on the lives of local families.
In her free time, she loves to travel the world with her husband and friends, most recently Guatemala and Australia. At home, she enjoys cuddles with her kitty or creating things, either artistic through pottery and sewing, or sweets through baking. Teri loves spending time with family and friends, playing trivia at the brewery, and getting outside. She stays active by playing broomball on a women’s league and is active in the broomball community as a board member of the Minnesota Broomball Program.
