Kendall

From the special treatment received at the airport, the friendly faces at Give Kids the World, visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and being selected for the wand ceremony, every aspect of Kendall’s wish was her favorite. Kendall is an eighth-grader from Deer Creek, MN and one year ago, she and her parents learned of her diagnosis of Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After months of travelling back and forth to the Twin Cities for chemotherapy, the whole family was ready for a reprieve, and a trip to Universal Studios was the perfect way to celebrate clear scans & blood work! Huge thanks to Dreams for Kids out of Perham who not only adopted Kendall’s wish by hosting community fundraisers, they also helped us surprise Kendall to let her know her wish was approved in front of her whole school after a junior high music program. Creating special memories goes beyond the wish, and we can’t thank our friends at Dreams for Kids enough for helping us make our wishes unique and extraordinary for kids in their area of MN!
