This beautiful little girl was 3 ½ years old and had suffered from a heart defect since birth. They had applied for a wish just before Keisha was scheduled for a second open-heart surgery and her parents were hopeful, but tragically, hope wasn’t enough. Just days after her surgery, her tired body gave up and she quietly took her final breaths. Her heartbroken parents expressed that the pain they feel is simply unexplainable, but how incredibly appreciative they were to receive our Memorial financial gift, in lieu of a wish. Just knowing that so many people care about them and will remember their precious girl, helps ease their pain just a little.
