In 2007, then ten-month-old Izzy received a nursery makeover from Wishes & More after her diagnosis with congenital heart failure coupled with liver hemangiomas. Afterwards mom shared, “We are so grateful for the room, all of the hard work that went into painting her room, and for the delivery of all the items. Isabelle’s favorite item is her miniature-sized chair – she loves to sit AND stand on it!” And look at her now!! This resilient young woman has overcome a lot in the past 17 years and in May, she graduated from Sartell High School and started making plans to relocate to North Carolina for college! We are happy to support Izzy with our unique and important Scholarship of Hope® gift – a two-part financial gift given to every wish child to support their higher education. Even after the wish, we stay in the background supporting them and cheering them on! Our scholarship is our way of showing that support and giving encouragement to each of our wish kids to dream big and reach for the stars. Izzy will be studying Psychology at Western Carolina University where she hopes to learn more about how humans think and dive deeper into the development of thoughts, beliefs and personalities. We are proud to gift her first allotment of Scholarship of Hope funds for the Fall semester. Join us in wishing Izzy well as she begins this new chapter full of hope and excitement for her future!
