Hazley

Hazley is a fun and spunky Halloween baby who turned four this year!  This young family was having dinner one night when her dad lifted her up and felt something abnormal in her stomach. By the next week, Hazley was in surgery to remove a tumor and started treatment immediately afterwards. For 7-1/2 months, this strong-willed toddler endured her treatment protocol and thankfully her body responded remarkably!  She is now doing great with regular follow-up visits with the doctor – truly a reason to celebrate!  During the interview process, the family talked about how she loves to swim and go down water slides and play in the water that slaps against her face! Hazley’s wish was to go to the waterpark and just before Thanksgiving the family of five traveled two hours north to spend a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington.  Initially, Hazley was only interested in the kiddie pool, but it didn’t take long for her to be on to bigger and better opportunities. She did every water slide and Mom said even though her face showed terror, that did not stop her from wanting to go again and again!  We love to see the smiles created from her wish come true!
