Grayson is a bubbly, resilient 4-year-old who has a congenital condition called VACTERL syndrome. This serious disorder affects many body systems; however, this happy kid doesn’t let the symptoms, treatments or hospital visits get the better of him – he is one of the most engaging kids you’ll ever meet! In addition to enjoying shopping at Target with Mom, swimming and playing outside; he is also a HUGE superhero fan – with Batman at the top of the list. Thankfully, Wishes & More has a direct connection to Batman and we sent Grayson on a superhero adventure thanks to our partner, the Super Heroes with Super Kids Foundation. They provide an incredible adventure to our kids who are Super Heroes themselves and give them an opportunity to meet their hero. We LOVE seeing the smiles brought through this special experience.
Grayson’s wish was to visit Disney World to meet his favorite characters and his wish trip was hands down the best trip of his life. The smiles produced from the days of rides, character meets, food and activities were unmatched. Afterwards, Mom wrote, “The amount of trauma we have been through is so hard to explain that being able to spend time together without any medical things in the way was the best thing ever. Seeing our child smile from the moment he woke up to the moment he fell asleep. Sometimes even smiled in his sleep. His happiness is our world and you guys made it the best time of his life. Thank you so much for making our boy the happiest kid through this experience.”
