The great blessing of Fulton’s arrival was on Christmas Eve in 2017. His family welcomed his birth with a circle of love, and his smile and Charlie Brown appearance captured the hearts of everyone throughout his brief seven years of life. This sweet boy faced multiple medical challenges and climbed grueling medical mountains as he endured a bone marrow transplant, several food allergies, surgical infection, brittle bones, and lastly and unexpectedly, cancer. His parents shared, “Fulton had an infectious giggle that usually accompanied activities like time in the pool at Gillette, his brother Paul hopping up on the tires of his wheelchair and snuggling his face, or time in his rocking chair with a treasured toy like Tom turtle.”
In November, he had a sudden and devastating decline in his health, and his friends and neighbors immediately got to work to create an outdoor display of Christmas lights, gathered Snoopy & Peanuts gifts, and formed a last-minute celebration of his very first, and last kid’s birthday party. The following day, he left this world cradled in the arms of his loving mom. Fulton will always be remembered as a testament that “Life is worth living.” Memorial funds were gifted to this family immediately after their loss. In 2025, Wishes & More supported 98 families with these important funds. Our hope is that every family that received them feels comforted knowing that our community cares about each one of them.
