Emmanuel has a rare type of head and neck cancer, known as nasopharyngeal carcinoma, which has him in and out of the hospital often for treatments. Just like most 15-year-old boys, he likes playing computer games, but also loves basketball and is a huge Chicago Bulls fan. His wish was for a shopping spree at Mall of America, but when our Wish Wizards met with him, he wasn’t strong or healthy enough to leave the hospital. Nonetheless, we were still able to grant his wish and provide him an online shopping spree where he was able to stock up on new games and Bulls gear from the comfort of his hospital bed.
