Meet Ellie! She may look like your average teenager, but she has been struggling with a serious blood disorder called Myelodysplastic Syndrome. She became very ill last year and unfortunately, had to postpone her dream of attending college in order to receive a necessary bone marrow transplant. With the successful treatment and recovery process behind her, she’s ready to think about college once again. She determined that her best wish would be to prepare for her first year at school with a shopping spree at the MOA! Last weekend, Ellie spent a day at the Mall with her mom & aunt where her favorite stores received them like celebrities! She was able to pick up quite a few new stylish outfits, makeup, and items to get her ready for her first year. She will also receive financial support through our Scholarship of Hope® program as she begins her studies at the University of Milwaukee this Fall.
