Dublin was born with a rare genetic disorder that impacted his heart, muscles, immune system and his growth. In April, he had a significant incident of seizing, which began a flurry of tests and therapies resulting in open-heart surgery. As he was recovering, a large arterial bleed took his life. Because of the onslaught of critical treatments and his extended hospital stay, a wish wasn’t possible for this precious 2½ -year-old. The family shared, “Dublin loved to experience things at his own pace, watching intently from afar. He was small but had a big personality. He had few words but was more expressive than most adults.” We are saddened that Dublin won’t be able to grow up and share more of his personality with his family and loved ones, but we hope our Memorial grant helps them as they grieve this enormous loss.
