16-year-old Devin lives with his parents in North Branch. He suffers from Vaters Syndrome, which in Devin’s case affects his kidneys and vertebrae. Devin is a fisherman and he loves to fish with his dad. His wish was for a Bass Boat so he could take it out and fish whenever the mood struck. His parents had an amazing plan in mind – to surprise him with the boat! His family told him a “little” lie saying that unfortunately, the boat that he wanted was sold, (he was super bummed!). Mom said the hardest part was keeping the surprise from him. Due to some incredible work by his family, Wishes & More was able to present Devin his boat during the North Branch Parade. The look on Devin’s face was priceless as the boat with his friends and family on board came by him at the parade. He was overcome with joy when he realized that the boat was his! Wish granted!
