Conner

Fourteen-year-old Conner has struggled with serious neurological and other medical complications since birth. He has chronic kidney disease and is recovering from a recent hip surgery. Additionally, he is challenged with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy that causes all four of his limbs, his face, and his torso to be spastic and stiff. You can imagine how difficult all these diagnoses would be to manage, and his family expressed a desire for him to have a wish that would be enjoyable and have the benefit of also being therapeutic. Hot water does wonders for Conner’s conditions – and who doesn’t love to soak up the heat and splash around? Consequently, his wish was for a hot tub and the pure joy on Conner’s face says it all – this was an extremely successful wish come true!  To make this wish even more special, we presented the Green Bay Packers Gives Back gift pack! His smile upon receipt of the gift pack lit up the room. We have no doubt he will continue to exude joy whenever he uses his wish-come-true, and we hope the hot water will give him some reprieve as well.
