Cece

Having an elite – one in a million status – can be very special, but not when it is related to a rare medical condition that doctor’s are unable to label. Unfortunately, nine-year-old Cece falls into that class.  Additionally, she suffers from epilepsy that causes innumerable daily seizures. Sadly, her life-expectancy will not be long; however, her loving Mom and brother make her life as exciting as possible and they were thrilled at the possibility of helping her experience a wish! Disney World was the dream and Wishes & More was happy to make it happen! Mom, Brother, Grandma, and Auntie joined in on the trip. With all of Cece’s medical equipment and oxygen needs, along with careful planning from Cece’s palliative care team, they opted to drive to Orlando and Give Kids the World. Once they made it to Florida, they created a daily routine of getting up early, hitting the parks, going back to The Village mid-day to rest, and then hitting up the evening parties at Give Kids the World. Cece’s favorite thing was meeting all the characters and especially loved Minnie and Daisy. On the way home, they stopped at the beach to take in some sun and waves. We did what we do, we can’t give her years, but we can assist in giving her memories and that’s the beauty of a wish.  Thank you to The Goldbeck Family for adopting Cece’s wish and assisting Wishes & More by bringing this special girl and her family some much needed joy at the most magical place on earth!
