Sixteen-year-old Morgan was born with Down Syndrome along with a heart condition, making it difficult to gain the independence she desired. Her heart condition tires her easily and she requires life-long clinical follow-ups. Despite this, she is very active in her community. She plays in her high school band and participated in the Special Olympics. Also, Morgan volunteers at a local nursing home. Morgan does not let her disabilities control her positive impact on the people around her. This young lady had the surprise of her life when her wish for a pink mobility scooter came true. Morgan is all about the sparkle and her new ride has plenty of it. She can now happily cruise around town in style, providing her with the independence she needs.
