Mike is a bright 8th grader who loves to visit the science museum, play on the computer and build model rockets. In April, he began to develop headaches. Then one evening his mom noticed he was walking funny and the next morning the left side of his tongue went numb. They soon discovered Mike had a brain tumor. Mike’s parents reached out to Wishes & More during this stressful and trying time of their life hoping to receive some rejuvenation.That is exactly what they were able to get once they were granted Mike’s wish to travel to beautiful Hawaii. His mother shared on his Caringbridge site: “Our trip to Hawaii was amazing!! Wishes and More thought of everything. We had limousine service to and from the airport. Our hotel was beautiful. We were able to do some sort of activity or excursion every day we were there thanks to their generosity. We went on a submarine ride, whale watching, snorkel/snuba trip, sunrise tour on top of a volcano, 2 luaus, traveled the road to Hana, National Volcano park, helicopter ride over an active volcano, Botanical garden, Pearl Harbor and 1 more snorkel adventure.
