Emmett

Born with a complex range of health issues, including a genetic condition causing lung and heart defects, Emmett’s life has been marked by constant medical care. This smiley kid doesn’t let any of those pokes or treatments get him down; in fact, his mom describes him as a joyful child with contagious energy! One of Emmett’s greatest joys is splashing and playing in water, so his wish was to go on an airplane and have a water-filled vacation in a location where he won’t get too overstimulated. Cape Coral, FL, was the destination, and his mom relayed, “He was living his best life. He was just so happy the whole time.” Our friends at Delta made sure the preflight and flight were filled with fun; their beautiful Airbnb had a private pool and welcomed them with open arms. They dressed up to enjoy a complimentary family photoshoot, played in the sand at the beach, and became pirates on a family cruise!
