Olivia

Seven-year-old Olivia has two sisters, and all three of them have been giddy with anticipation for her Disney World Wish to come true… and as expected, they had the time of their lives! Olivia battles with a serious genetic condition and a very high risk of epilepsy. When our volunteers visited with her to learn more about her top three wishes – it was very clear that Disney was at the top of the list. She loves all the characters, especially the princesses and Doc McStuffins. This active girl couldn’t wait to explore every inch of the parks with her family.  Upon their return, Mom relayed that they “had the BEST TIME EVER” at Give Kids the World Village and the theme parks. Some highlights included spending two days at Magic Kingdom – the first day having lunch in Cinderella’s Castle and watching the magical fireworks show both evenings. The girls were enthralled by the enchanting Wizarding World of Harry Potter and used their interactive wands to cast spells throughout the park. They also met Anna and Elsa in Norway at Epcot AND her favorite Doc McStuffins, along with Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, and Goofy at Hollywood Studios.  All in all, this magical vacation provided a much-needed respite for the entire family. We are happy that we were able to support Olivia and her family AND we are also thankful that Mom has supported Wishes & More through volunteering throughout the wish process as well! We rely on volunteers so much throughout the year, and we appreciate that Mom felt drawn  to help us with our annual activities and give back to our special charity!
