Laura joined the Wishes & More team as a Wish Granting Intern in September 2018. After graduating from the University of St. Thomas with degrees in psychology and family studies, Laura took the full-time position of Wish Granting Coordinator in June 2019 and transitioned to the Wish Program Manager in August 2021. She loves waving her wand to grant all types of wishes, but some favorites include shopping sprees, staycations, room makeovers, and good ol' Disney World vacations. She also enjoys fiddling with spreadsheets (to a certain extent).
Spending two-thirds of her life in the southern 'burbs, and the next third in Saint Paul proper, Laura has now settled "up north" with her amazing husband, itty-bitty daughter, and two crazy kittens. She loves to explore the great outdoors and expends her competitive outlet through softball, volleyball, and game nights. Her friends affectionately call her "Lorba Gilly" to capture her wacky nature, and "The Snackstress," to honor her role as baker and hostess. Her Catholic faith fundamentally shapes and guides her adventures. Laura looks forward to continuing to grow and learn in her role at Wishes & More.
