Jay Zemke joined Wishes & More in 2025 as the Executive Director, leading a passionate team and community of supporters who create extraordinary experiences for local wish kids and their families. Jay has spent his career building organizations that remove barriers for kids and is known for his ability to connect people to a mission, make volunteers and donors feel like essential members of the team, and turn big ideas into organized, fundable realities.
With more than 30 years of leadership, marketing, and nonprofit experience, Jay brings a blend of strategic thinking and genuine heart to his work. He’s led teams in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds, including previous executive roles where he focused on building strong partnerships, growing programs, and expanding impact for children and families.
When he’s not championing wishes, you can often find Jay cycling, spending time with his family, or brainstorming the next creative way to bring joy, hope, and lasting memories to kids and the people who love them.
